How to Write a Standout Query Letter: PART FOUR
How to write about 'you'. How to tailor your letter to agents and where to find lists of literary agents. How to sign-off your query letter!
This week is part four of my five-part online course: How to Write a Standout Query Letter (you can find part one here, part two here, and part three here). In this post I will be mopping-up all the other little extra bits and pieces that I am often asked about, such as:
· How to write about ‘you’ in the query letter
· How to tailor your query letter to agents
· How to sign-off a query letter
Working on the points above will stand you in good stead to have a solid draft of your query letter before our final part in the series where I will bring together everything I’ve gone over in the course and give examples of successful and unsuccessful query letters.
Note there is no option for feedback this week - it’s the London Book Fair next week and I’m putting all my energy into that! But there will be an option for feedback in the final part of this series.
